2. Services
Diesel Lab specialises in the repairs and servicing of all diesel fuel injection systems on diesel vehicles.
Diesel lab provides diagnostic testing on diesel vehicles, diesel injector testing, diesel injector repairs, diesel fuel injection pump testing, calibration and repairs and all related mechanical services on diesel vehicles.
All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Quotations, Pricing & Commencement of Repairs
All testing and diagnostic fees is payable on all jobs booked into our workshop.
Please ensure that you are informed of such pricing and understand and accept the costs for this. You will be required to sign all paperwork related to booking in your vehicle or components for repairs.
Final pricing and quotation will be submitted before proceeding with repairs.
All quotes are valid for a limited period (typically 7–14 days unless stated otherwise).
Work will only commence upon receipt of a 50% deposit payment for all jobs.
Once deposit payment is received, will be scheduled in our calendar for repairs.
Subject to workload at this time, repairs may take up to 7 – 10 working days to finalise.
In special cases, where more technical matters exist or where latent defects exist, the time required to finalise repairs may be need to be extended however, this will be communicated to you, the client.
All jobs are subject to spares availability at time of repairs. In some cases, parts need to be ordered from overseas and this may cause unexpected delays and inconveniences. We kindly request your understanding in this regard.
4. Payments and collection of vehicles and/or loose components
Goods will only be released upon full and final payment.
No credit or payment terms will be negotiated.
Cash, Credit or debit cards are welcome.
EFT payment must clear in our bank account before goods or vehicles will be released.
Goods will only be released to a 3rd party upon verbal or written confirmation from the client who booked in the job.
We reserve the right to withhold vehicles or components until full payment is received.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
Provide accurate vehicle and fault information
Ensure that looses components are properly installed by an experienced and knowledgeable person or mechanic after repairs are done by Diesel Lab.
Follow recommended installation guidelines
6. Storage Fees, Liens And Unclaimed Property
Goods not collected within in 60 days from the date of completion will be sold to defray expenses.
Repairers’ Lien (Right of retention): Diesel Lab shall have general lien on the goods and all its contents for all monies owing to Diesel Lab by a company or entity or individual for the repairs conducted on such component(s) or vehicle.
Additional storage fees may be charged for non-collection of vehicles and components, as from 1 month after notification of completion of vehicle and/or components.
7. Limitation of Liability
Diesel Lab shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of income or business
Issues arising from pre-existing faults
All goods are left at owners’ risk. Whilst we take all reasonable care to avoid any loss or damage to property left in our possession, we are not responsible for any damage or loss due to fire, theft or any other cause whatsoever.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content (logos, images, text) belongs to Diesel Lab and may not be used without permission.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are not refundable once work has commenced.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Term.
